As you know, I love the misadventures books but this one made me angry and annoyed at the male character, West.  These stars are mainly for the writing style itself and once the mistress rubbish was over, I really started to enjoy it. Though I found Eryn to be a bit OTT and dramatic. She was more like a teenager than an adult and her attitude at times irritated me and made me roll my eyes. I did really love the ending though.  This authors writing style is in

I don't think I really got into it until about 40% if not a little later. The characters were great, though I found Jude to be quite ignorant, but I loved Ashleigh and her compassionate nature as well as great investigative skills. She was a fabulous character to follow. As was Dawn. I've read thriller's set in the Lake District before and they were amazing, but this one was just off, which was disappointing. This author definitely likes going into super fine details about places and it could be quite repetitive. I wanted the story, not more of the same layout. And we do get that in the end.

I think Vinnie and Bianca's story is my FAVOURITE so far in the Men of Inked: Southside series from Chelle Bliss. Again, I was completely hooked and barely put my kindle down. I was always so desperate to read another chapter (screw life, right? Book boyfriends are life). The characters were so fun, stubborn and flirty, both Vinnie and Bianca stole my heart from their very first meeting to the very end of the book. The story is fast paced towards the end and felt it was slightly rushed but I don't care, the books was too damn good to factor that into my rating. Chell

The antics of Shelby and Jay had me doubled over with laughter in many places.  This book is HIGH in amusement factor and HIGH in the perfect, hot AF alpha. But unfortunately, Shelby’s character really let me down. Hence the missing star. I didn’t like her, at all, and she’s irritated the heck out of me. Like, if she was a fly, I may just squish her. I couldn’t bypass my dislike for her character enough to award this book 5 full stars; like I’ve done previously for this author’s work.  Jay was a fabulous character. Definitely got the ‘Male Slob’ down-pat and yet he changed. Can’t all men be like that? *Sigh*. He’s just totally dreamy but I don’t see what he sees in Shelby. I’m an introvert and don’t particularly like

Was a very intense read! The characters were well thought out and brilliantly portrayed. I loved Harper and her stubbornness (it wasn’t OTT stubborn like a lot of authors write). Her personality, her persistence, is admirable. She doesn’t stop until she gets what she wants, until she can tell the whole story. And boy, did she uncover a ton of dirt!? I thought Luke was a bit of a douche-canoe but I’m going to go back and read the previous books so I can get a better idea of their previous relationship.  I’m devastated that this ended with a cliffhanger,

I’m not saying the whole story was completely boring, it really wasn’t, especially the final 25% when I felt it got better, had a bit of emotion behind the words and it was suspenseful in the end. But it’s a book that you’ll guess ‘it’ right away.  The characters were pretty bad, but I think that’s because of the way they spoke or acted and it wasn’t quite realistic in places. I did like Maddy, a little bit, but found she was quite the loose cannon, easily coerced (especially for a journalist), and extremely naive considering her

And this one has to be my favourite so far. It was full of angst, romance, humour and so much more.  The characters were relatable in every which way to real life people; Oliver was low on cash with no job perspectives in sight, resorting to opening BBI (you’ll have to read it to see what that means!). Skye; power hungry, driven but extremely childish and annoying... there’s always a few power-driven people out there that you want to roll your eyes at. Bailey; all around sweet lady. Non-vindictive like her co-star-character Skye, that’s for sure.  Honestly? I coul
