I didn’t feel any kind of connection to them including Grace... who was really the major victim in all of this. I hated Douglas, hated Anna, hated Cora and Tim. Can’t really judge on Nick because he was barely in it. The only really likeable character was Lottie, the child. She didn’t do anything wrong.  This whole story felt a bit like a loose cannon and so many things were going on it was a bit of a mind game. Which is good, but at the same time it was hard to keep up. But, the story was interesting, it was almost, almost, realis

Mainly because the way it was written and the way it was portrayed. The story kept switching directions in the middle a scene... I honestly thought my brain was getting whiplash and it was quite confusing. The storyline itself was really good, well put together and interesting, thrilling, but it was the best part of the whole book. I couldn't relate to any of the characters and I really did like Claire, felt her pain, 'til the end where I just wanted to throat punch her myself. I love how the story deceives you and how edgy it can be. I hate Chris, what kind of a husband is he

This books is incredibly tense, full of heart pounding suspense and careful clue searching. This will have you on the edge of your seats, wanting to scream at the characters. You’ll have the urge to flip to the end to find out who the heck killed Ruby. But don’t!!! The tenseness, the suspense and the twisty-turns are well worth the wait! I think the above statement shows how I felt throughout this remarkable read. I’m surprised my heart never gave out with how hard is was beating. Either that, or I’m surprised it never broke a rib. I found that everything around me faded when reading the words through the pages. I felt cold sweat dribble down my spine with how tense and unnerving this story is. This author is inc

Mainly because it’s completely different to any I’ve read before... which is nice, refreshing, but not completely in a good way. Unfortunately, this has a level of bore to it for the most part, though the author’s style of writing was amazing and totally engaging, I just felt there was something off about this story. It’s kinda like, serial killer meet jungle book to be honest.  There wasn’t really any fault in the characters. I mean, Magda/Lena was thoroughly thought out and written, I could picture her completely and I felt like I was her brain for the most part. Bo was fab, he’s like every girl’s wet dream except for the fact he w
