Her writing style is exceptional, gripping. This whole story had me on tender-hooks. The characters were rather questionable, but the writing, the story-line, was amazing. It did take me a while to get into this book, mainly because I didn't like Izzy, nor Nick. I actually didn't find a character that was likeable which was a shame. I can understand why Izzy has the personality that she does, but I just didn't like it. She was portrayed as a child in an adult form but it didn't work for me as the reader. The ending was quite quick, and over within minute. Which was a shame. The whole story was drawn out, a bit long winded, yet the BIG REVEAL was quite disappointing *insert sad emoji-face*. But the overall reason I've

But, nevertheless, I dived into this book with an open mind, plus I LOVE psychological thrillers, and this story is written exactly as a psychological thriller should be written. The back and forth, leaving the reader in suspense, is exactl what I love about this genre. So in other words, if you don't like the genre don't bother reading. Simple as. Back to my review... It was intense story throughout, with both a female and male POV, which was great. I liked the going back so many years then flitting back to the present. It definitely keeps us readers on our toes that's f

I’m still reeling with anxiety that I got from reading the end of that book that I’m struggling to come up with everything I wanted to say in this review, so I’m just winging it! It takes a lot for a book to grip my heart and simultaneously give me a massive headache, but Roma King achieved both in equal measure. In a good way, mind you. I don’t mind having a headache after reading this!! We’re introduced to so many characters that I found it hard to keep up and some I’ve already forgotten and feel bad about! I loved Zara though. I adored her actually. I loved her fiery attitude, her as a whole and generally liked her character-pe

I've loved them all!!  This one was incredibly well written, with a bit of humour and whole lot of sass. But, to be honest, I wasn't keen on Brooke, I didn't particularly like her bratty attitude but I LOVED Cole. He's a laid back alpha male, insanely hot and hella patient! The story itself was great and I found myself really really enjoyi

Very well put together with the right amount of genius. I didn’t see that one coming, I suspected pretty much everyone, almost, and that big reveal was sensational.  I LOVE psychological thrillers so much but they have to be written to perfection, this one most definitely was. Every character had their flaw, a certain characteristic that will make you stop and think ‘hang on a damn minute’, you’ll find that you won’t settle on suspecting just one person, or even two.  I love Joanna and Alfie, they were great main characters and I really liked Jo’s tenacity and ambition and yet she had a shy quality to her that made her seem a little stand off-ish. Can’t quite describe her but she was amazing to read about.  I can’t e

It was beautiful yet heart-clenching too! It was the perfect mix of lust and loathing and I adored the characters.  Eva is sweet, a little introverted in the way she thinks about herself - though reading about her, you can just picture how stunning she is - and she’s a caring, loyal, character... the perfect heroine.  Clive is hot, he’s hot right? Come on, you know he is. He’s a businessman and ex-special forces. Can’t get much better than that, right? Except for his playboy status and one-month flings, he’s protective and sweet... did I mention hot? These characters seem to compliment each other but at the same time they’re so far removed from each other that it makes them that much mo
