I’m so happy I decided to read this book! It was beautiful yet heart-clenching too! It was the perfect mix of lust and loathing and I adored the characters. 

Eva is sweet, a little introverted in the way she thinks about herself - though reading about her, you can just picture how stunning she is - and she’s a caring, loyal, character... the perfect heroine. 
Clive is hot, he’s hot right? Come on, you know he is. He’s a businessman and ex-special forces. Can’t get much better than that, right? Except for his playboy status and one-month flings, he’s protective and sweet... did I mention hot? These characters seem to compliment each other but at the same time they’re so far removed from each other that it makes them that much more bittersweet. 

I loved Eva’s besties too; Allie and Izzie. Great secondary characters with big personalities of their own and they’re the perfect, pushy, friends that Eva needs in her life. 

Though I found there’s was a little too much ‘sex’ at the beginning, where more story could have filled instead, I enjoyed everything unravelling and the way it happened though it doesn’t finish here and I’m itchy to read what happens next for these characters and the storyline itself. This book has certainly built a strong foundation for the next book in the series and I can’t wait to get stuck in. 

Amazing read, one that everyone should give a chance on. I’m so glad I did!
