Her writing style is exceptional, gripping. This whole story had me on tender-hooks. The characters were rather questionable, but the writing, the story-line, was amazing. It did take me a while to get into this book, mainly because I didn't like Izzy, nor Nick. I actually didn't find a character that was likeable which was a shame. I can understand why Izzy has the personality that she does, but I just didn't like it. She was portrayed as a child in an adult form but it didn't work for me as the reader. Very well put together with the right amount of genius. I didn’t see that one coming, I suspected pretty much everyone, almost, and that big reveal was sensational.  I LOVE psychological thrillers so much but they have to be written to perfection, this one most definitely was. Every character had their flaw, a certain characteristic that will make you stop and think ‘hang on a damn minute’, you’ll find that you won’t settle on suspecting just one person, or even two.  I love Joanna and Alfie, they were great main characters and I really liked Jo’s tenacity and ambition and yet she had a shy quality to her that made her seem a little stand off-ish.
