Is this how Meghan Markle felt when she joined the royal family? I have a feeling that Leia is just like her. She rebels against the monarchy’s protocols, so does Meghan; she’s quite rude, so is Meghan. It’s like reading the duchesses memoir but with much better drama and a much more interesting storyline.

I’ve loved this series so so much and I honestly didn’t want it to end. But in this book, I was not keen on Leia at all. She was a bratty and uptight a lot of the time and I found it disconcerting as she was the one that wanted to be with Oliver and knew the consequences. Yet she forever fought and even was selfish enough to secretly hope that Oliver never took the throne. Girl, you knew 100% what you were getting yourself into. Yes, I know, I got quite invested in the story. I kinda ate up the words regardless of a migraine making me poorly. I dislike royal romances but Tabloid Princess and The Scandal Queen have given me all the feels!!

I love Oliver, I love how he sticks up for what he wants; consequences be damned. He wants to help people and he wants to be himself. Kinda like Harry, right? And I know I crushed hard on Harry, he just hasn’t got anything on a Prince Oliver. *fans face*.

The storyline itself brought up a lot of touchy subjects; the main being drugs and overdoses. It’s a subject that needs to be handled with care and this author did it spectacularly. She was gentle with the story, firm about the truth of drugs and handled it with complete care. You can tell this author did a ton of research for this story and it made it seem more realistic and less Disney.

Fantastic writing style. Fabulous storyline. A digger full of drama and amazing characters.
