I’m in love with this author’s work. Completely in love with her writing style and her characters in each book are so freakin’ awesome! And this book was no exception. What’s better? There’s no ‘hot’ scenes. Not sure about anyone else, but I just can’t read them no more and that made this book extra special. It was ALL story!

Clover and Kai... swoon. Their tragic romance was one of fairytales really but the outcome couldn’t have been more emotional. Honestly, the ending? I ugly-cried like a baby... and I’m not even joking. Clover is just such a wonderful, yet stubborn, person. She’s caring, loving, confused, a little aloof and bright. Kai is her polar opposite, he’s a typical rock star but with a heart full of gold. He’s the dark to her light and it makes their friendship all the more enigmatic. 

The storyline was just completely perfect. I mean, this book couldn’t have been any better at all. It made my heart pound, it made me cry - twice -, it made me chuckle and it made me all warm and fuzzy. I’m a full-on lover of rockstar romances and I’m finicky with them. But this author really did her research into music and instruments and that made this book fabulous. 

The penmanship from this author is incredible. As with previous books, she draws the reader in from the get go, spits them out at the end with tears down their faces and makes readers want to wish for a higher rating number then just 5.. cause this book is a solid 10. 

I’m looking forward to more books from this author and in my heart, and soul, I’m dying for a story from each of the band members because there’s nothing better than a full series of rockstars. Sigh. I can only hope!
